Prodigal Theatre co-founder Alister O’Loughlin trained in the UK and in Central Europe as a member of a theatre laboratory. Between 2002 and 2010 he was one of the Nightingale Theatre’s actor-managers supporting the development of over 100 new pieces of theatre and dance, and hosting a wide range of contemporary performance masters. He is the writer/performer of the multi-award winning Tragedian Trilogy and performed as Bosola in ‘Ten Thousand Several Doors’ winning ‘Best Show’ at the Brighton Festival where it’s twice been staged. Alister played Tiresius in Steven Berkoff’s ensemble touring production of Oedipus. He is the company manager and spokesperson for the Urban Playground Team, and coordinates the international Performance-Parkour Network. He has written for several publications including the Theatre, Dance and Performance Training Journal. He is currently studying the Diploma in Dance Teaching and Learning at the Laban Conservatoire, London.
